If you have a site you would like listed here please contact me. Note, however, that I generally do not list commercial sites unless they have strong interest to the hobbyist.

www.department56.com - If you would like to learn more about Department 56 (the company) and their many products, this is the place to start.

www.villaged-lights.com - Village D-Lights is a magazine for Department 56 enthusiasts. Their October/November 2010 issue carried an article about our collection, which can be viewed from the Tour page on this site.

www.christmasvillagefun.blogspot.com - Chris Brosterhous has done a great job of linking historical information to Department 56 pieces in this blog. Very interesting reading for anyone with a serious interest in Department 56.

www.mattlake.com - This site is crammed full of great Department 56 information. A "must see".

www.terisd56.com - Another site with lots of interesting information and pictures.

www.ebay.com - If you are interested in buying current pieces, we suggest you find local retail outlets that sell them. However, if you want to buy pieces that are retired (no longer available at retail), eBay should be your first stop. Not only is it generally the cheapest place to buy, but it is also a lot of fun. I had almost as much fun buying retired pieces on eBay as I do displaying them. Remember, eBay is a buyer-beware marketplace. Check out the sellers reputation, which is easy to do on eBay, before you bid.

www.google.com - If you go to Google and search on "Department 56", you can spend a lifetime reading all the "hits" you find. Some of it is good, some of it is commercial, and some of it is prettly lame. Be careful, but have fun.
