Dining Room Divider Construction
The room divider / flower pot holder as originally purchased.
I raised the divider further off the floor by fitting each leg with an extender cut from plastic pipe. This picture also shows the balance of the construction materials used: styrofoam, Buffalo Snow, artificial greenery, various wiring cords and connectors, and a cookie tin.

I wired the cookie tin to the center section of the divider to add an extra "shelf" for the display.
The plastic leg extenders were spray painted black to match the divider. After cutting circular pieces from the styrofoam sheet, I placed one on each flower pot holder on the divider and on the cookie tin.

Next I wired the frame, providing a light for each of the houses to be added and a connector for Christmas tree lights to be added later. I secured the wiring to the divider frame with "twist-ems". Atrificial greenery was added to provide decoration to the display and to hide the wiring.

Christmas tree lights were added to the greenery and the display was complete.
